When the City of Mandurah approached Overland Media to help create a comprehensive stock library, we were thrilled by the opportunity to showcase everything that makes this vibrant city so special. The City of Mandurah's communications team had a massive task ahead—capturing the diverse elements that make up this bustling community. From libraries and sports complexes to wetlands, youth programs, and waterways, we were tasked with documenting it all. And when we say “all,” we mean every corner of this thriving city.

Over the course of six weeks, we embarked on a whirlwind journey across Mandurah to capture over 4000 edited images. Each image was carefully crafted to tell a story of the city’s dynamic offerings. Whether it was showcasing public infrastructure, local wildlife, or the community activities that make Mandurah unique, we ensured that every aspect of life in the region was well represented. The breadth of the content covered public facilities, local events, and even the stunning waterways that define Mandurah’s coastal charm.

In addition to the extensive photo library, we also captured a variety of video footage. These videos were designed to complement the still images, offering an extra layer of storytelling through motion. With video content being such an important part of modern marketing, the City of Mandurah now has a rich collection of material that can be used for everything from social media campaigns to internal communications and promotional videos.

The project not only gave us the chance to dive deep into Mandurah’s diverse offerings, but it also allowed us to work closely with the local community, highlighting the many services and features that make the city such a great place to live and visit.
